Mark your calendars! Something exciting is coming to Thames Ditton Bakery this summer! On Saturday mornings from May to July, the usually empty space outside the bakery will be transformed into a mini market. After hosting a few successful pop-ups last year, we’re looking forward to expanding the concept and welcoming six fantastic independent businesses – from artists and brewers to crafters and jewellers.
We’re lucky to have such a vibrant community of makers and entrepreneurs in Thames Ditton and the surrounding area, and this pop-up market provides the ideal platform for them to share their expertise and showcase their creations.
Last year’s pop-ups created a real buzz outside the bakery, and we can’t wait to experience that energy again. Let’s hope the weather complies!
So, come along and support these incredible local gems. Pick up your weekend loaf, then have a browse and see if something takes your fancy. Visit our other High Street shops at the same time – grab a coffee and make a morning of it!

MAY
30th: Dotty Designs
Treat yourself or someone special to a wooden creation by Helen, a Molesey-based artist. She’ll be selling a selection of her laser-engraved wooden chopping, serving and cheeseboards, as well as other beautifully crafted wooden gifts.
JUNE
6th: Oorla Jewellery
Discover Oorla’s range of handcrafted jewellery, made in her studio near Hampton Court. Her nature-inspired collection includes sterling silver, gold-filled and gemstone pieces. Simply stunning.
13th: Seedis House
We’re looking forward to welcoming Kingston resident Jasmine to our village. Jasmine will be here with her curated range of natural and organic skincare and home fragrance. Expect premium quality products and expert skincare advice.
20th: Thames Ditton Brewers
Following last year’s popular pop-up, Paul returns just in time for Father’s Day. Check out his diverse selection of local beers - perfect for Dad or for you! Paul will also be launching something special on the day. Don’t miss it!
27th: Thames Ditton Farmers’ Market – Mercer Close Car Park
Don’t forget to support Thames Ditton’s established market every fourth Saturday of the month. Organised by Alex, Janine and Kim from The Court Circular, the market is an opportunity to enjoy local produce and champion small independent businesses.
JULY
11th: Thames Ditton Artist
Explore the latest creations by Thames Ditton artist and painter Andrea Cunningham. Specialising in local landscapes and portraits, Andrea also designs cards, so you’re sure to find something special for every budget.
18th: Handmadeby.chloe
Check out Chloe’s selection of handmade and personalised resin gifts, from keyrings and coasters to bookmarks and pens. Chloe also hand sews make-up bags, purses and scrunchies- perfect for summer getaways.
25th: Thames Ditton Farmers’ Market – Mercer Close Car Park
