Full-time kitchen team members (part-time also considered)
This is a pivotal role at the hub of our little bakery. You will be responsible for helping make bread, preparing food, including making sandwiches, and managing the ovens for baking bread and pastries. While training is provided, previous experience in a similar environment is highly desirable.
Our kitchen is compact and our team is small, so the job is very hands-on, and cleaning up after every task is essential.
This position is *five days per week – day times only. Typical shifts run from 6 am to 2 pm on weekdays and 4 am to 2 pm on Saturdays. In addition to Sundays, when we are closed, you will have one day off each week, often a Monday, giving you two consecutive days off. *That said, we are willing to be flexible and consider applicants who are only available part-time.
Hard work will be rewarded, and there are opportunities for the right individuals to get more involved and become part of the business.
Part-time front of house team members
In this important role, you’ll be the first point of contact for our customers. Your responsibilities will include providing excellent service, efficiently handling orders (including over the phone) and ensuring the front of house is spotless and well-organised at all times.
The bakery can get extremely busy, particularly on Saturdays, so strong multitasking skills and the ability to think on your feet are essential.
You will work an agreed number of shifts each week and should be prepared for early starts and to work some Saturdays. However, we aim to be as flexible as possible and as we are closed on Sundays, you can always look forward to a weekend lie-in!
